Now that you are blessed with a little one you are all set to enjoying your motherhood.Pregnancy gifted you with a small little angel but on the other side it also gifted you something which you never wanted and that is Post Pregnancy weight.
Of course it is natural and it happens with most of the mothers but instead of going on a crash diet you can plan healthy eating habits along with exercises.Here are some other beneficial tips which you can follow to reduce post pregnancy weight:
Take Regular & Healthy Meals
Most of the people thing that eating leads to weight gain and if you will stop eating you will start loosing which is not good because it gives you the opposite result.Make sure you plan and take healthy and regular diets which will help you to reduce.
Increase your meal plan with lesser food
Instead of taking three heavy meals take six meals in a day so that you will not feel overloaded after taking single meal.Eating six small meals instead of three big meals will also mean you will not stay hungry in between.
Enjoy Less Calorie foods
Since you are a new mom you will need to have some nutrition to help it to come back to your previous health.Also to keep yourself healthier and produce enough milk for your child.
Avoid eating high calorie foods,enjoy low calorie foods.Take food that are rich in protein,fiber,calcium etc like chicken,beans,egg,yogurt,whole grane foods etc.
Hydrate you body
Make sure you drink at least eight to ten glasses of water a day, as it will help to flush out all toxins from your body.
Drinking water and fluids will also prevent dehydration and improve your metabolism, which is effective in managing weight.
Include different types of liquids in your daily diet such as milkshakes, smoothies, soups, stews, fresh juices.
Visit you doctor and ask when you can get back to exercise.It is important to include exercise to your daily routine.
Try to start with basic exercises.Do not give over pressure or hurt yourself so that you do not feel too tired,
Yoga ,Swimming,Aerobics are the exercises which you can start with.
Take good Naps:
it is not possible to get eight straight hours of sleep when you are a new mom, but you should try and avoid being sleep deprived.Not getting enough sleep can adversely affect your metabolism and slow down your weight loss process.
Try to assign housework to other members and get some sleep while your baby sleeps. Pump out the milk and take a few power nap sessions. Show your partner how to feed your baby.
